Hello

I've found this trumpet in a flea market, it was made in France by Couesnon, with an interesting marking "USQMC".
Could you please confirm that this trumpet was made or bought for/by the US Army ?
Is it dating from WW1 or WW2 ?
Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Thanks for your response.

I've found on the net that the US Quartermaster Corp has been existing from 1912 to 1962 ?

PS : How can I change the title (trumpet => bugle ?)

Not sure of date - would guess earlier then WW1 - but it's a Bugle - not a trumpet!

John, do you think that cord may have been for Field Artillery, seeing some Red remnant threading there.
