mb399579 Posted May 26, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 26, 2017 Hello I've found this trumpet in a flea market, it was made in France by Couesnon, with an interesting marking "USQMC". Could you please confirm that this trumpet was made or bought for/by the US Army ? Is it dating from WW1 or WW2 ? Thanks for your help. John Conway Posted May 26, 2017 Share #2 Posted May 26, 2017 Not sure of date - would guess earlier then WW1 - but it's a Bugle - not a trumpet!

John, do you think that cord may have been for Field Artillery, seeing some Red remnant threading there.
