bellasilva Posted May 24, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 24, 2017 Just picked up this salty tag to a Pharmacists Mate 1st Class who was accepted on board the USS Thomas Jefferson in August 1943 and took part in the assault on Salerno, the D-Day invasion, the invasion of Southern France, and the assault on Okinawa. Pretty stoked as it is my first Navy tag to a D-Day vet. Can't imagine the carnage he saw while tending to the wounded men of these invasions.
