Fritz Posted May 24, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 24, 2017 Anyone know what unit this patch is for? Fritz
The_Brick Posted May 24, 2017 Share #2 Posted May 24, 2017 I'd venture a guess and say something with the 23rd Infantry Division (AMERICAL) because of the arrangement of the 4 stars, but I'm not sure.-Dave

gwb123 Posted May 24, 2017 Share #4 Posted May 24, 2017 It's an ROK Republic of Korea Army patch, I believe for the Support Command that serviced their units in Vietnam. The tiger patch is also an ROK division that served in Vietnam. These are very collectible.

all-bull Posted May 24, 2017 Share #9 Posted May 24, 2017 The Korean units that served in vn have always been under appreciated in the collector community as far as I am concerned. The tiger patch itself can be found in Vietnamese Japanese and Korean made example. I have heard they were some of the fiercest fighters there and were well known when they took part in a mission. firefighter Posted May 25, 2017 Share #14 Posted May 25, 2017 That is a nice ROK group of items. As already stated, ROK units are under appreciated and allied forces should be in your Vietnam collection. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Korea_in_the_Vietnam_War
