KurtA Posted May 22, 2017 Share #4 Posted May 22, 2017 Its style is typical of coats of various state military organizations of the era (late 1800's/early 1900's) but I think it was re-purposed to just be a band uniform (based on the buttons). The epaulettes appear to have a different button (could be a state button). That may provide a clue as to what the coat originally was for.
