gap Posted May 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 22, 2017 Just picked up this beautiful M-3 shoulder rig. It's marked Enger-Kress without a date. I know these are generally considered WW2 production, but can the undated version be nailed down to any particular time period? Late war, mid-war, early war? Shoulder strap is thick at top and narrows down to where it attaches to D ring. I believe this style is usually referred to as second version. gap Posted May 22, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted May 22, 2017 I also noticed that the adjustment buckle is blackened brass. The buckle on my Boyt '43 M3 holster is black painted metal and of a slightly different design (longer).
