I found this patch at the flea market a few days ago. Can anyone tell me if this is a uniform patch or part of something else? Also, can anyone tell by the construction where this patch may have been made (CBI made or post-war Japanese)? Any help is appreciated!

Material is too thick for a scarf so I think it is a patch that was never worn and had the edges folded over. Or it just never had the leather border applied. Looks sort of like Tony the Tiger getting ready to spring into action.

I never even knew that there was a difference between a right facing and left facing tiger. Thanks for the info!

The CATF was before the 14th AAF. A harder variation to find. My brain wasn't working earlier.
