falcon_ib Posted May 14, 2017 Share #27 Posted May 14, 2017 Amazing that you have background info on both helmets' owners. Truly a one of a kind grouping.

SEABEE SON Posted May 14, 2017 Author Share #33 Posted May 14, 2017 One of the other Attu helmets I have is named to Higuchi. There are several with that name so we couldn't narrow It down to one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

marentius Posted May 15, 2017 Share #35 Posted May 15, 2017 indeed great items!they would be anyway very nice without a story or a provenance, but together with the identification and the story of the previous owner this grouping becomes fantastic. Tennessee Posted May 16, 2017 Share #36 Posted May 16, 2017 Great group and presentation! I love when the great items also tell a great story! Just think- both helmets could have ended up on the other side of the Pacific! History looks so very different in the rear view mirror! These items should stay together forever! Great research with the unit memorial history form a much lesser know campaign of the war! David
