Family Connections Discovered on The Forum

On a recent thread, a family member saw a rifle owned and engraved by a long dead family member in 1918.

 

On another thread, a forum member bought a photo album from 1954. In it were pictures showing Joint Turkish / US Operation Keystone in Turkey.

Some of those pictures showed my father.

 

That's one of the reasons this forum is special, and enjoyed so much by most of us.

 

Any other cases like these on the forum?

I found a photo album on here that may have some photos of my grandfather but I was unable to make contact with the member. That is the closes I can think of personally.

Yep, the rifle story was me. I always wondered if I'd find my Dads dog tags, but that was never expected! Still trying to find an importer in the USA two calls no returned calls....If any one know one shoot me a PM
