Flightpath Posted May 8, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 8, 2017 Hi, I want to buy a WW2 1st MAW sholder patch, I saw this on Ebay and ended up buying it. It is embroidered on blue material and the eagle has a red eye..... seller said it was a variant and he believes it was from Harry Wosk.......... I was looking through the Marine patch forum here and found a thread started by 'gap' (Sept. 19 2015) about a simular (4th MAW) patch and the blue material, 'gap' wondered about the blue material as being WW2 era but didn't get a reply......... so, what do you think about it? hope you can help, cheers, John

Flightpath Posted May 8, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted May 8, 2017 Thanks Bill, this is a great forum, with helpful members! The eagle almost looks like it looking to the right (and looks like a cockatoo). Cheers, John
HOF Posted June 21, 2017 Share #4 Posted June 21, 2017 I have three blue base material MAW patches (I, II, and IV). I've been looking for PAC and III with the blue base without success. I would have thought that the manufacturer would have made them all.
