Eric Queen Posted May 6, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 6, 2017 You (or at least I) never see original (private) photos of US K9 handlers or units taken in theater. In fact, this is the first one I have ever seen so I thought I would share it here. Even press photos of K9 units are scarce and highly sought after. This one is 5 x 7 and taken in Belgium in November of 1944.

Timberwolf Posted May 6, 2017 Share #6 Posted May 6, 2017 What a great photo! Any idea what unit these guys would have been a part of? I'm guessing some Corps level strength or higher? What was the role of K-9 teams in the ETO?
Jumpin Jack Posted May 6, 2017 Share #7 Posted May 6, 2017 OMG that disk is so cool, first I ever saw.
