USAAF Service Pilot wings - unknown maker

Hi guys,
this is what I believe to be a pair of late WWII Service Pilot wings.
They are full size, silver plated and not hallmarked. Short pins (about 4 mm long).
Thoughts welcome.

The only thing that looks strange to me is the dark backside, I always thought it was a post-WWII feature.

No, not a strictly post WWII feature. That is probably one of these "dealer-lore" things. I am pretty sure that they were making them with this type of finish during WWII too. I think the didn't retire the service pilot rating until about 1947, but they were pretty much obsolete well before that time. It is a nice WWII vintage service pilot wing.
