tankdriver Posted May 1, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 1, 2017 I picked up this ID Bracelet that belonged to, Ward L. Holley 701st Tank Destroyer Battalion 1st Armored Division. It is a original sterling ID bracelet. I was told he was from Illinois and served in the army from 1941 to 1945. He served in major battles from North Africa and Sicily lived 1914 to 1985. Our Club(West TN Military Collectors) Is the only MAVPA chapter that honors TDs. One of out members was in the 701st. So we set up out vehicles as 701st TD's. This will go nice with our displays. bellasilva Posted May 1, 2017 Share #2 Posted May 1, 2017 Man that is one of the nicest ID bracelets I've ever seen, and unit marked to boot. Incredible!
