iron bender Posted April 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2017 I'm a dummy when it comes to post WW2 junk. So I've got these two ammo cans, both with Nato paint marks, one appears to be Lake City 69 dated…Can anyone give me the skinny on these two .30 cal ammo boxes? One has the stamped bullet on the lid, one doesn't. I believe they're both unmessed but I could be wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated on when and where with these two boxes. I'd love to have a couple of unmessed Nam era boxes in my pile. Thanks for your input in advance. Jordan

ccyooper Posted April 23, 2017 Share #5 Posted April 23, 2017 The one for the M73 MG is probably a (69 dated I cannot read it) good can for a nam era display (ball and tracer). The other can could be nam era but since it was used for blanks not very interesting in my opinion. Since you have looked at the site you probably know the info about the cans themselves.
