bryang Posted April 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2017 Found this at the flea market today and paid $3 for it. After I got it home and started to look it over did I discover the maker's tag. This appears to be dated December 1977. Well-made, double-sided. I don't know how many of these things would be cranked out at any particular time - only one Commandant of the Marine Corps, after all. I assume that this would be used on the USMC Commandant's vehicle? I'd appreciate any comments/insight. Thanks - Bryan
northcoastaero Posted April 22, 2017 Share #2 Posted April 22, 2017 Interesting find at a bargain price. The flag may have been for USMC Commandant General Louis H. Wilson, Jr. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commandant_of_the_Marine_Corps#List_of_commandants https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_H._Wilson_Jr. Hope this helps.
