Geoff Posted April 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 21, 2017 I hope this thread is appropriate here? I'm a forum member, fellow collector, and an aspiring writer. I just finished the draft of a fictional short story with a main portion of the story set in occupied Poland during WW2. Without giving too much of the story or plot away, I'm hoping to find a few readers here who enjoy historical fiction to test read my story draft and give me feedback? The short story is currently 46 pages long, with an additional few pages of historical notes at the end. The word count is about 9,600 words at the moment. I'm looking for the following from test readers: Does the current cover design catch your interest and make you want to try the story? Does the story keep your interest from beginning to end? Did you enjoy the story as it currently stands? After reading the story, how do you like the working title I've chosen? Any other comments, suggestions, or feedback? If you're willing to give this a try and answer my questions and provide useful feedback please let me know? Thanks! Geoff
Lawguns Posted April 28, 2017 Share #2 Posted April 28, 2017 I don't know much about WW2 Poland, but I would love to give it a read and will send you feedback.
hardstripe Posted April 28, 2017 Share #3 Posted April 28, 2017 Geoff, I would be glad to read your story and provide feedback. Until I retired in 2013 I was a professional technical writer and editor. Dennis
