Much better than the one on display in St. Louis. I have seen that one many times. This one is outstanding.

Having seen this uniform in person... it is without a doubt one of the top 10 finest uniforms of WWII (along with Mark's Patton uniform).

Here is the earliest photo of have of General Doolittle wearing the uniform....he has just returned to Washington from the raid, notice the new Brigadier General Doolittle is holding a picture entitled Shangri-La which is where Roosevelt said the planes took off from. He updated this uniform all through the war.

Wow! You can't miss that extra pointed lapel, and the belt that's different from the later official TW service dress.

 

It's hard for me to tell, is the color more khaki/tan or "pink?"

 

Amazing to see, thanks a lot for posting!
