Costa Posted April 18, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 18, 2017 this also came with the MK-2 listed in edged weapons. all origonal and nicely cartouched. all screws are not buggered up, slots are trur. does have much bluing left and action works fine. barrel bore is clean. i am not into early items like this but, it was just nice i had to go the extra mile. Big Al Posted July 7, 2017 Share #15 Posted July 7, 2017 Very nice. But, there is no Model 1878. What looks like an 8 is actually a very deeply stamped 3. This is a very well documented production anomaly. In any case, regardless of what is stamped into the breech block, it is actually a Model 1884, incorporating the serrated trigger and Buffington adjustable rear sight.
