vintageproductions Posted April 17, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 17, 2017 Found this great shirt at the antique market today. Hard to tell for sure but looks like it was a double sleeved 101st, but for some reason someone removed the shoulder patches. Can anyone check and see what they can find any info on this officer? Thanks. I have done okay with WWII research but suck at Vietnam...... Thanks in advance. Bob
gwb123 Posted April 17, 2017 Share #2 Posted April 17, 2017 Bob, it is quite possible the soldier himself removed the patches for use on another uniform. Such things were done.

gwb123 Posted April 17, 2017 Share #6 Posted April 17, 2017 The photobucket links are dead. This is why we do not allow the use of photo posting sites. Once the links are gone, the threads that contain them are useless.

I will add another photo tomorrow but what is cool is he was a Lt and it was also direct embroidered, then the capt bars were embroidered over the lt bar. However, sometimes members still have these images saved in their off forum photo hosting sites, so perhaps Torch still does and these can be reposted as per USMF standards.
