WIA 36th Combat Engineers Combat Medic's dog tag

Got this one at an antique store and did the research.

 

Veteran served as a combat medic with Medical Detachment, 1st Battalion, 36th Combat Engineers.

 

He was wounded on January 23, 1944 at Anzio.

 

Participated in the following campaigns.

 

Sicily

Naples-Foggia

Rome-Arno

Southern France

Rhineland
