bellasilva Posted April 11, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 11, 2017 Well, almost 100. Thought it'd be a neat shot to get them all side by side. WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam and current.
USdog Posted April 11, 2017 Share #2 Posted April 11, 2017 Cool Phil. I've done that with my army tags before. Lining them up from Civil War to Vietnam. Really interesting.
David D Posted April 11, 2017 Share #3 Posted April 11, 2017 Pretty cool stuff. What's the story on the WWI guy?

bellasilva Posted April 11, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted April 11, 2017 Thanks gents. The WW1 tag belonged to an 8th Marine Regiment guy, so he didn't go "over there". The WWII tag is to a 9th Marine Regiment radio operator who landed on Bougainville and Guam. The Korean War tag is to a two war vet, in WWII he was a rifleman in Company L, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, and in Korea he was again a rifleman with 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, and I believe he was wounded at the Chosin Reservoir. No clue on the other two unfortunately
