PaulS Posted April 9, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 9, 2017 I acquired what I thought were two M1 rifle slings. But the one on the bottom is much longer than a standard M1 sling. Both slings are marked MRT DEC 1953. Is the longer sling for the M1918 BAR? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PaulS Posted April 9, 2017 Author Share #2 Posted April 9, 2017 LOng sling is not marked "MRT DEC 1953". It is marked "MRT 1-1958 OR 59". The standard sling has a adjustment clamp marked with an anchor while the longer one has a clamp that is unmarked. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
