Spike Posted October 15, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 15, 2008 I had set up a display at the UDT/SEAL Reunion back in August and it seemed to be enjoyed by everyone. I had various uniforms and insignia displayed, also had a float coat as well. A guy came up and said he might still have one back home somewhere, he was a SEAL Team 2 guy who was with 4th platoon at Nha Be in 69-70, the platoon did 99 ops. Anyway, about a week ago he emailed said he had found the jacket and he actually had 2, long story short, met with him last night and got these from him. Also copied 94 color and B/W photos. Brown dom med-reg radioman. He wasn't issued these, he was just somewhere that had these jackets lying around and he grabbed a couple, never worn buy him or anyone. Spike Posted October 15, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted October 15, 2008 Small-long green dom rifleman. When he found these jackets at his place he said something about finding a dead mouse in the box and there are nibbles in the cloth on both jackets. Jeff Ashenfelter Posted October 16, 2008 Share #21 Posted October 16, 2008 Just goes to show that there are still some nice items lying unapreciated somewhere. What Spike fails to mention is that his latest find is the direct result of his efforts of (putting his time in) as I like to say. I am sure that he has spent a lot of his own money and time to attend these reunions etc, and most of the time you walk away with only some time well spent. Congrats on the find Mike, I am sure you deserve it! Jeff
