Steve S. Posted April 1, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 1, 2017 Been tossing around a few ideas for displaying the knives in a better way than just having them laying around. Took some scrap lumber I had left over from the bathroom remodel & put this together to hang on the wall. Now I need to make 2-3 more to get everything up. This one is set up for M3/M4 but have a little bit of everything in it right now to see what adjustments I need to make on the other boards for the larger knives. The Mrs. actually likes it, so that's a plus!

sundance Posted April 1, 2017 Share #3 Posted April 1, 2017 Very nice. Now when you say the Mrs. likes it I'd guess that doesn't mean hang it in the living room "like". Those are great looking Q knives.
swmdo Posted April 1, 2017 Share #4 Posted April 1, 2017 Great job. One suggestion you could have a nice little plaque made explaining it on the bottom center. I had one made for some paintings like you see at a museum. However, There is a trick you can do using wax paper or sticker paper with the sticker paper and ink jet printer and clear wood. You just have to print in reverse and you press the description or image on to wood. Be careful you don't smudge it. Google it and you will see what I mean. You tube is a good source to show you. Prob will need practice. If it smudges try again after sanding. You can use fancy font rustic etc, etc change size of print. Then apply clear coat over it to seal it in....
