mikedon Posted March 30, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 30, 2017 Years ago i was browsing eBay one morning and ran across a mint early U.S. UTICA CUT. CO. MARK 2 that had a Buy It Now option for $45. It had been listed hours before and I could not believe it was still there. I just don't run across good buys like that anymore.
Charlie Flick Posted March 30, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 30, 2017 A beautiful example, and further proof that the early bird does indeed get the worm, as my Dad frequently reminded me. Charlie

thorin6 Posted March 30, 2017 Share #4 Posted March 30, 2017 "Years ago" is the key; great buys like that are few and far between now. Nice score even then.

sactroop Posted March 31, 2017 Share #7 Posted March 31, 2017 Really nice. Yea we usually have to pay more today than several years ago. That said I'm still under the impression that we've been in a buyers market for a few years now, however it looks like my money only goes a little more than half as far as it did in 1990. Maybe that's the other side of a buyers market, when one comes along more of us potential buyers seem to have less disposable income to put towards those real prizes.
