1972firebird Posted March 27, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 27, 2017 Hey guys. I just picked this one up from a fellow forum member Rick (1canpara) and felt like sharing it. Before Rick owned this lid, Mike owned it (sgtdurango) so im confident its not fake if they both had it as part of their collections. Its a 50s era 101st airborne Easy company helmet with spades and the "E" present on both sides. It is a rear seam helmet and it looks to be in relic condition. Personally i love the look and had to have it. Attached i also show a photo of the same helmets in use and hope that Mike will post a photo of his example. 1canpara Posted March 30, 2017 Share #9 Posted March 30, 2017 Thanks, I appreciate the comments. They are great guys. Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad this helmet found a good home in a growing collection! It's a nice example of a 50s tac marked helmet with just the right amount of patina and wear to it!
