I'd love to say this is an Advisor helmet, but I haven't been able to find any information on the name "Wallace M.D" to prove that. What I can say, however, is that the paint is old, and that the KW-era liner has been with the late-50s shell for a long time based on the matching rust stains.

I like it a lot , not sure of era etc but looks great. The wear and paint are what you should see on an original camo helmet

Congrats

I have to agree with what Owen says, its been painted in a MERDC scheme.

Which will date it from late 1970's onward.

Pattern looks VERY close to the scheme for MUTTs etc late 1970s.

Looking at images online, I definitely see the resemblance.

I have the official GOVT drawings for this pattern somewhere, they show all different theaters and many different types of equipment.

I haven't seen it for years and honestly forgot the name !!!

The MUTT pictures above is my favorite !

The tropical pattern also is really cool.
