vintageproductions Posted March 23, 2017 Share #5 Posted March 23, 2017 I'm sure member tredhed can add the details but I believe the Constab patches with the star design are to a specific Constab unit

Red Devil Posted March 26, 2017 Share #7 Posted March 26, 2017 I was fortunate to take this one home from the sale. It is from the 35th Con. Squadron. I don't know if the patch was unit-specific though, or just a high-end variation available for purchase in the area. Below is a photo with what appears to be a star bullion patch worn by a Captain in the 81st Constabulary enjoying a tasty beverage in Fulda, c. 1946-7. It's from an album I have and I tried my best to blow it up for detail.
