tigerfan Posted March 23, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 23, 2017 Just acquired this knife from a sale today. It is very large and hefty. I like the patina to what appears to be bone handles. I was told that the knife belonged to a marine but no history was given. I got those looks that say "why do you want to know". So I didn't press any farther. Anyway a unique knife. Ivydiv Posted March 23, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 23, 2017 Very nice knife. The blade shape is really unique. The great thing about Theater made knives is you always see something different. The variety is endless, as was the maker's imagination. Great addition to your collection.

mikedon Posted March 23, 2017 Share #5 Posted March 23, 2017 VERY nice knife! I usually don't like theater knives without Civil War or Patton blades but yours is outstanding. I would be proud to have it in my collection!
thorin6 Posted March 23, 2017 Share #6 Posted March 23, 2017 Are the handles held on by screws or rivets?
tigerfan Posted March 23, 2017 Author Share #7 Posted March 23, 2017 On one side I see a slot on each so they are screws. Interesting that the other side of each one appears to read: 7.

Thanks for the comment - comments. However I am not much of a collector so at some point this will go away. I just enjoy the thrill of the hunt !! thorin6 Posted March 24, 2017 Share #11 Posted March 24, 2017 On one side I see a slot on each so they are screws. Interesting that the other side of each one appears to read: 7.8 That side appears to be a USGI brake lining rivet but as you said, the other side has a flat-head screwdriver slot. Curious.
