Calling All Engineer Collectors....Patch info request

A friend and I are working on research about the wear of the WWII Engineer Technical Intelligence cuff patch -

So far, we have only found two with provenance still attached to uniforms - one in my collection and one in a museum. Both are thing English-made type on the round wool background. A second type, oval on a black background also shows up for sale and other places - but has yet to be seen on a uniform.

Does anyone have either of these patches attached to a uniform or loose with provenance? OR any other variation? Would love to hear about it on this thread or via PM.

Thank you!

Here's mine.....have you contacted the Engr Museum at Ft. Leonard Wood? Ask for Troy Morgan, the curator. Not only he is a curator, he is a historian with an interest in, and knowledge of, insignia.

The circle patch is WW2 period and believe to be Belgium made and a rare patch to find. The oval I believe to be post war and later. The circular patch comes in two versions, the one you show and a summer version on tan twill.
