Brian Keith Posted March 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 21, 2017 Stopped by a thrift store the other day and they had about 20 or so of these, I picked up a couple. I thought 1981 was a pretty early contract date. Thanks for looking. BKW
gman5004 Posted March 21, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 21, 2017 Pretty cool, methinks. Were these used with the woodland pattern camouflage?
Brian Keith Posted March 21, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted March 21, 2017 Hi G-man,
Don't get confused by the term "coat". The US Army calls all the uniform tops "coats". This pattern replaced the woodland pattern in desert/arid areas, widely seen very late in Desert Storm. I understand the pattern was worn by some US troops in the '80's training in the Sinai Desert.
Thanks for your comments!
BKW
