About a year ago I had the list of the items that went into the Army Field Desk. They are now gone and I don't know where I had downloaded them from. Can anyone tell me what goes in the desk or where I can get the contents. I have attached a photo of my desk so you know which one I am talking about.

Hardscrabble farm has a list of suggested contents for the field desk, though I am sure there might be others out there with similar information or more information. http://www.hardscrab.../field_desk.htm

Hope this helps,

Wonderful to finally see that.. I've had one of these desks since 1971, and always wondered what went in it, other than generalized and miscellaneous clerical stuff. Should have known the Army would have a VERY specific list!

Fill it up with what H/S would have kept in their desks. Lugers, badges, breast and hat eagles, rubbers, cigs and booze. Just kidding of course! That's a really nice desk. Congrats on such a nice find!
