Steve S. Posted March 19, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2017 First of all, I know absolutely nothing about pocket knives, but ran across a lot on Ebay that I picked up for $4.25. In the lot was this Camillus 1967 piece thats in really nice shape except for the spring that holds tension on the main blade & awl being broken. Anyone know where a replacement part can be tracked down ? One of the others has me curious as to what is is & if its possibly military. Its an Imperial, & has the loop like the Camillus & a large USA stamped on the smaller blade. Just struck me odd that the lettering was so large compared to the Imperial stampings on the main blade. easterneagle87 Posted March 19, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2017 These Camillus knives are pretty cool. I pick them up when ever they're good deals. You'll find dates on the main blades from the 1950's? till pretty recent. There was a thread not tooo long ago about these. If the info get's posted where to fix them, it'll be good info! I got several the same way.
sactroop Posted March 19, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 19, 2017 The springs are made from 410 Stainless steel. The thickness puts it at about 13 gauge stock. So far I've had no luck finding it. Maybe someone at Queen knows where to get some or still has some left over from when they were making these for Ontario.
