I've had this uniform for a few months now, but I, fianally, decided on how to display it. I got it directly from the vet's grandson. It belonged to Henry Bellman of the 413th AAA Gun BN, First Army. I am waiting on his service file from Golden Arrow (hoping to get his casualty cards), but I did get several documents with the uniform that states his unit. His family kept his Purple Heart, which is completely understandable in my eyes. ETO ribbon has one battle star and invasion arrow. FindAGrave had a newspaper clipping referencing his WIA status on D-Day. It's an honor to have this on display.

They dog tags actually sold to a different person. I was working with the seller and someone else got them before I was able to purchase them. When I asked about the uniform, the seller said he had another set of his grandfather's dog tags. He sold them to me in addition to the uniform. So, I was very happy to keep the second tag set and uniform together.

I will say, the seller was a quality guy. We've exchanged texts and phone calls. He filled me in with some stories about his grandfather. It was very enjoyable.

Amazing uniform, awesome to have the dog tags with it.

Thanks! I was definitely lucky to get both the uniform and tags.
