I found this amazing 13 star service banner today at a local thrift store today and I had to share. This is a WW2 era rayon banner with 13 stars in a really interesting form. The banner is stamped at the top ' "I Am An American" Victory Service Flag'. This is one of the few service flags that I have ever come across that is marked like this, hopefully I can track down a manufacturer. The single sided flag measures 44"x 52" . The stars appear to have been applied with an iron on process or an adhesive of some type, unfortunately one of them has been lost.

New service banner, probably my greatest thrift shop find

Awesome! I do have a very similar one that I have sourced form my book from a larger collection- But it is made of wool bunting and doesn't have the the wording on it.
I would be doing cartwheels in the street if I found that at a thrift store!
