I've taken a look at these Glider wings for bit, but have some questions. I've seen this style, but the flat style is pretty ugly. The flip side is straight pin back and marked sterling.

Let's hear what the crowd has to say.

I agree with everybody else as this is one of the legitimate variants. I've also come across this flat profile style glidertrooper wing with a drop in catch. More recently I've come across a clutch back sterling marked (incised) wing which may indicate a restrike. Whomever manufactured this glidertrooper wing also manufactured a sterling marked pin back flat profile paratrooper wing.

I like them though my personal preference is for the more sculptured styles. They are not pilot or any kind of aircrew wings - they are the "Glider Badge" issued to everyone who completed glider unit training to learn how to be an airborne soldier who would ride in a glider in the same way as the similar design "Parachutist Badge" was given to airborne troops who took the training course to qualify to parachute. I agree that $125 is a bit optimistic for a price this Badge and would think half of that would be a full retail amount for them.
