Bebel Posted March 11, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 11, 2017 Hi all, It's a long time I don't post there. Since I have sold the greatest part of my aviation collection and refurbished the room in my house where I display what I have kept, perhaps it's time to do. So, I'm happy to share with you some pictures of the Cdr Neal's grouping. William H. "Bill" Neal III was n USN pilot from 1942 to 1965. He fighted with VF-40 over Okinawa and Bornea in 1945. Then he was assigned to VCN-1 (which became the FAWTUPAC in 1949 and then VC-3 squadron) and took command of the VF-23 in 1954. I've recently framed the FAWTUPAC officers picture and the insignia. I then displayed again the most past of the grouping. If interested, some others are related at: http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/94178-vf-40-group/?hl=neal&do=findComment&comment=692074
