BigDogMilitaria Posted March 4, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 4, 2017 I just picked this grouping up today. Very excited to be the new caretaker . Should be a fun research project The A2 is a stunner! Great painting all around . I found a little snippet about the dog in "The Mighty Eighth in Color" by Roger A Freeman The bomb tags are killer as well, they tell quite the story! Government Issue Posted March 5, 2017 Share #15 Posted March 5, 2017 The yellow paint on the bombs seem to match the yellow lettering and background surrounding the depiction of Rusty. Based on that I'd wager it's all original and was cared for extremely well.

JDK Posted March 6, 2017 Share #23 Posted March 6, 2017 Great A-2. I agree with the above post that it is original paint that has been protected and cared for well over the years. Mission tags are a nice touch as well! JD
