Greetings everyone!

Here is a Sherman II of C Squadron, 9th Queens Royal Lancers, 2nd Armored Brigade, 1st Armored Division, at El Alamein, October, 1942. The Sherman II is essentially an M4A1 as modified and used by the British 8th Army in North Africa. This is the Tasca kit in 1/35th scale. Hope you like it.

Hey Joe;

Very nice work on the paint job and camouflage. Nice extra details added, but as Lars said: Please post some more pictures of this awesome tank.

Thanks fstop61 :)!

Thank you Lars :)! As a side note, I actually built this Sherman several years ago, but it sat on top of the toolbox collecting dust. Finally decided to try some techniques I never have done before and finish it.

Amazing weathering and detail work there. Nice job!

Got to love Silly Putty and it's 'new use' for modelers!

Thanks Waltz41!

Got two eggs of Silly Putty in the toolbox :D!

Hey Joe;

Thanks for the extra pics. You did a really nice job on this Sherman. It has that look of being in the desert. Your weathering, painting and decals are outstanding.

Now aren't you glad you took this model down from your toolbox. It's an inspired piece of work.

Thanks Manny!

That Sherman must have sat on the tool box for 6 or 7 years. I gave it a warm bubble bath before airbrushing and yes I'm glad :)!
