McDermut99 Posted February 24, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 24, 2017 These two discs came in a box of insignia. Each one is 1 3/4" in diameter and appear to be made out of copper. One is a flat disc with the seal raised, and the other one is slightly domed with a raised seal as well. At some point each one looked to have had two or three pegs of their backs, but have broken off. They appear to be fairly old due to the green oxidation and the numerous small scratches on the front side especially. From what I have gathered they are WWI era US cavalry bridle rosettes.
