Vincennes Posted February 18, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 18, 2017 At the flea market today I picked up a collection of photos and diplomas belonging to Air Force pilot 1st. Lt John Evan Patterson Jr. AO3023084. There are about 40 photos and 14 diplomas. He was a pilot just after the Korean War and flew F-80's and F-86's. After he received his Jet Fighter Pilot Diploma (below) he was attached to the 363rd Tactical Recon Group in South Carolina at Shaw AFB. He was sent overseas with the 15th TAC Recon Sq and based at Komaki AFB in Japan and K-14 AFB in Korea. Paul
