mvmhm Posted February 18, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 18, 2017 I'd spoken to a visitor about 4 months ago who noted he had his Grandfather's World War I dog tag..he came in today with his son and his dad and donated it...he had some neat pictures his Grandfather had taken during that time, which they kept, but I was allowed to scan them. I also got copies of his discharge doco. He was a Chief Pharmacists Mate, and owned his own pharmacy after the war. He served aboard the USS Eagle. USdog Posted February 18, 2017 Share #6 Posted February 18, 2017 That's the best WWI Navy tag I have seen! The tag itself is fantastic and the research and photos really top it off.

muddyboots Posted February 19, 2017 Share #9 Posted February 19, 2017 Super great tag!!!!! I love how he etched a line around the edge of the tag to keep the letters from wearing away.
