Jennings Lane Posted February 17, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 17, 2017 1930's ROTC uniform. Id the patch. Louisville Military Academy? I bought this uniform yesterday from an estate. It came with a skirt. Originally I thought it was a girls ROTC uniform. [small size, tapered jacket]. The skirt was a similar color, but different fabric. The more I look at the jacket, I believe it to be a boys ROTC item. The family had several children and their mother was an excellent seamstress, so I would think that she made the skirt so that one of her girls could wear the jacket as a costume. All said, does anyone recognize the red patch on the sleeve? I'm told there was a school here in Louisville called the Louisville Military Academy in the 1930's. Any thoughts.
