ccyooper Posted February 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2017 I purchased this canteen at an estate sale some time ago with a few other WWI items and I wonder if it is a commercial canteen or military type used during WWI. I found a thread on a similar "A" trade marked canteen but no definitive answer was provided regarding its period of use. It has a welded side seam.
