Granowski who served with the 13th Air Force, I am planning on displaying this piece next month so any info on his career and his awards would be greatly appreciated. I am planning on restoring the ribbon rack using period ribbons for the display. The New Zealand Wireless Air Gunner wings and Navigator wings are beautiful together and the bullion on the navigator wings are impeccable. The bullion on the 13th Air Force patch is amazing as well. I have a book titled Palm tree, history of the 13th aaf. it is available on line. lots of pictures and names of service men. It,s expensive, but an invaluable resource. Many bomber crewman, pilots included, served two tours, one against the Germans and a later one against the Japanese. Tibbets comes to mind right. It's a stock patch that has been bullion stitched over. Something else if more is that there is a separate patch on the back with what looks like a religious Christian flaming heart. I will post pics when I get a chance.
