Burning Hazard Posted February 9, 2017 Share #7 Posted February 9, 2017 When I first watched BoB (before I knew who Ed Tipper was) and saw him wounded in Carentan I was like "There's no way that paratrooper would survive those wounds, and even if they did they would not live very long", I was wrong. Ed Tipper outlived his rescuers. His buddy Floyd Talbert was convinced he died of his wounds and couldn't believe that it was Ed who came to visit him after the war! What an amazing paratrooper!
