Any Information about Inter-War Period Filters?

I've recently been reading up on Inter-War period masks and filters, however, I cannot find much information out on them. I'm currently attempting to find some information on MIII, MIX, and earlier filter patterns for those of you curious.

The inter period was pretty huge for respirator design, we had the MI, the MIA1, MIA2, Navy diaphragm designs, lots of really interesting masks. But the filters are rarely discussed, plus I have yet to encounter images of them. I know a few had horizontal inhale slots, but leaving this to my imagination, I think of the British Type A which doesn't seem quite right, haha.

Here are the markings for a MIXA1 (or M1XA1, some filters have different designations from my experience); they were issued around 1939 and eventually replaced by M10A1 filters for all 'Lightweight' models.

Thanks for taking your time to read through this!

Wow, didn't know that page existed.

Saw a great article about the MII packaging on there, too!

Thanks for this, I thank you very much!
