mvmhm Posted February 4, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 4, 2017 Yesterday afternoon a guy from one of the local American Legion Posts dropped in with a bag of uniforms from a Post member who'd passed away three years ago. He had been assigned to the 622nd in Korea and then the 85th Infantry Division. Everything is marked to him, even the sewing kit. There was also an absolutely MINT pair of WWI trousers and 3-button shirt - probably this Vet's father's. Earlier in the day a woman who served in the Navy in Vietnam dropped off a box with her Dress Blues, Whites and Light Blue summer uniforms...not a bad day! mvmhm Posted February 4, 2017 Author Share #2 Posted February 4, 2017 ...and the SCARWAF SSI with Korea tab....the tab isn't close to be centered, but that's the way it was sewn. His medals replacement form was in the bag, so I can restore the ribbons, and I need to get some engineer collar brass, but otherwise it's ready to be put on a mannequin.
