I'm not sure about the 2nd award badge, I have one exactly like it in my collection. The front certainly looks like an Assmann, but the back has one big difference. All three of my Assmann marked CIB/EIBs have a broader 'groove' where the rifle is, no detail at all. The one pictured shows a much more defined recess on the back of the badge, complete with trigger and guard. I guess we will have to wait for an Assmann marked badge in the style of the one you pictured to be sure, but I sure hope it is! I would love to determine that mine is Assmann too!
