RTFREY Posted October 8, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 8, 2008 This is typical of the large WWII portrait photos taken during Tech School by GIs to send home. I did one myself similar to this in 1955. It shows a airman wearing a leather B3 jacket with shearling collar, a leather flight helmet, and googles. The white silk scarve was also a typical addition.
