Please Help with Early Navy RPPCs

The seller said these were from Admiral Byrd's expeditions but I have my doubts. They are all unused AZO RPPCs that look like WWI to early 20s. Can anyone identify the ships or locations. It looks French.

The bottom one is a collier, which looks like it is of the 'Proteus-class'. There were differences in the coaling gear they carried, so with some study you should be able to pin down a good ID. It resembles Cyclops.

The taller guy in the fur certainly looks like it could be Byrd but a little too old maybe.

The navy uniforms are certainly indicative of WWI. in the early 20s the caps changed.
